    Light Street Special Education Solutions is looking to hire a Speech and Language Pathologist for a part time (3 days/ week), in school position. Duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

    • Complete related service procedures: treatment planning, record keeping, and progress reporting
    • Provide direct service delivery as indicated by child’s IEP and/or Treatment Plan
    • Develop IEPs and/or Treatment Plans
    • Develop supplementary documents and/or materials relevant to treatment goals and implementation
    • Participate in IEP meetings and/or parent progress meetings
    • Administer evaluations and complete written evaluation report
    • Communicate proactively and effectively with learners’ parents regarding progress and/or concerns
    • Communicate effectively with instructional staff regarding learners’ strengths and needs within the speech-language domain
    • Provide materials relevant to learners’ strengths and needs to parents and/or instructional staff
    • Participate in intra- and inter-disciplinary professional development (meetings, in-services, etc.)  
    • Maintain cleanliness and integrity of therapy materials and school environment
    • Provide yearly training to instructional staff
    • Provide training to related service staff twice per academic year
    • Mentor and/or supervise students in the speech-language pathology community
    • Communicate concerns to Clinical Coordinator
    • Other duties as assigned


    To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

    • Ability to work independently
    • Ability to use initiative in taking the first steps or to act without being urged to complete projects and/or work


    • Master's in speech-language pathology
    • Passed the Praxis
    • Maintain license per ASHA requirements
    • Arizona IVP Fingerprint card
